The Blue Pineapple Club can provide any and all of the musical entertainment for your wedding, including classical music while the guest arrive at the church or marriage venue, cocktail piano music during the drinks reception and the full, swinging jazz band for the dancing in the evening. Book all 3 options and Phil will work out a special deal for you!
Arrival at the Marriage Venue
Tor Loram is a classically trained clarinet player who has played for the Welsh Philharmonic Orchestra amongst others. Tor is regularly booked to play at wedding services, typically giving a beautiful solo performance while the guest are wandering into the church. She has a number of classical pieces to choose from, but is so versatile she could probably play any piece you like given a bit of notice. Similarly she can usually round up a few more musicians for a quartet during the drinks reception.
The Drinks Reception
The sultry sound of old favourites, jazz standards, blues and latin from live piano will provide just the atmosphere to give your event or venue a relaxing sophisticated feel. Bobby Gilbert can provide laid back blues and jazz on solo piano. Alternatively Tor Loram can usually rustle up a classical quartet.
Dancing with the Blue Pineapple Club Swing Band
Dance the night away with a mixture of songs that we have found have everyone on the dance floor, from grandparents to teenagers. Check out a typical playlist. “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing”
